Sales Rep Southwest/Southern California - Job Description
Regional Sales Representative: Southwest/Southern California
We are looking to hire motivated Regional Sales Representatives to generate leads and drive sales in new territories throughout the US. The Sales Representative should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be goal oriented, competitive, and have a knack for developing strong customer relationships. Along with conducting the inside and outside sales activities required to generate new leads and close new customers, the Sales Representative will be responsible for; developing solutions to fit a customer’s needs, providing technical support, routine account management functions, assisting in inventory management, resolving customer service or product related complaints, maintaining accurate account records in a CRM system. Proven sales experience required with experience in industrial packaging preferred. Applicant must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and be a goal-oriented self-starter. Compensation is combined salary plus commission and bonuses, ranging from $40,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within an assigned sales territory.
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their needs; identifies and proposes products to meet those needs.
- Performing inside and outside sales activities to generate new sales and meet or exceed sales goals
- Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and account management functions
- Maintains CRM data with detailed record keeping of sales activities, including; opportunities, calls, quotes, relationship status, customer contacts, etc.
- Provides technical support and demonstrates extensive product knowledge related to key products or services.
- Establishes sales goals and budgets
- Maintain a professional company image at all times
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree. (Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business preferred)
- Minimum 2 years sales experience required. (Experience in the Packaging Industry preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long hours at a time
- Able to travel frequently as required of the job
